Forty kilometers of classical cross-country skiing race through snow-covered forests immersed in the Gran Paradis National Park: this is the magic of Marciagranparadiso that animates the alpine village of Cogne on February 3rd and 4th, 2024.
Cogne, among the most charming locations in Aosta Valley, welcomes cross-country skiing enthusiasts every year for the Marciagranparadiso, a historic sporting event founded in 1975, animating the town every first weekend of February.
The path through the woods of Cogne
The forty-first edition is scheduled for February 4th, 2024, and, as per tradition, will cover a 40km track in classical technique, along a loop route among the most technical and spectacular of the Italian gran fondo, with start and finish in the picturesque field of Sant’Orso.
The long line of participants will color the woods of the Gran Paradis National Park (the oldest in Italy), while in the center of Cogne, traditional music and the most famous local bands will play.
The Mini – Marciagranparadiso for kids
On Saturday, February 3rd, it’s the turn of the kids with the Mini-Marciagranparadiso non-competitive competition organized by the Gran Paradiso Ski Club, reserved for children. The course runs along the Lawn on different distances in proportion to the age of the participants.
Marciagranparadiso has joined the prestigious Ski Classics Challengers international circuit.
